GPN is a global network offering examinations worldwide. Owned by Michael Martin, the organization began when Michael was conducting polygraph exams for national media organizations in the1980s. This generated a great deal of demand for his services outside his geographical region. Michael began to enlist the aid of other qualified polygraph examiners to handle this additional workload, and by 1987, the Nationwide Polygraph Network was born. Due to the overwhelming response to this concept, requests began to flood in from Canada and other countries as well, so in 2003 the Nationwide Polygraph Network became the Global Polygraph Network®. GPN members now offer testing at over 500 different locations in dozens of countries worldwide. Today, GPN also provides paid internship opportunities to new examiners.
